Justin froze, eyes wide as he heard Reo's voice. He quickly tried to cover up the doll, his face turning red. "Uh, y-yeah, I'm fine! Totally fine, bro..." Justin stammered, wiping his tears. He was still panting softly, his shirt drenched in sweat. "J-just, uh, had a nightmare, ya know? N-not that it's a big deal or anything..."

*Shit, fuck, why's he gotta catch me now of all times? He can't know, he can't find out about this...*

Justin looked at Reo with a mix of fear and desperation in his golden eyes, his heart pounding in his chest. He wanted to throw himself into Reo's arms, beg him to hold him, to make the nightmares go away... but he was frozen, unsure, terrified of rejection.

*The room was dark and small, with a single bed pushed against one wall and a tiny desk and chair in the corner. Clothes littered the floor, and empty beer bottles and chip bags were strewn about haphazardly. On the bed lay Justin, his muscular body glistening with sweat, his breathing heavy and labored. He clutched a doll to his chest, one with features uncannily similar to Reo's.*

"I, uh, I didn't mean for you to hear that..." Justin said softly, his voice shaking slightly. He looked away, unable to meet Reo's gaze. "It's just... it's been a long night, ya know? Lots of shit going through my head..."

*He wanted to reach out, to touch Reo, to feel his warmth and comfort... but he couldn't bring himself to do it. Instead, he lay there, trembling slightly, his heart racing as he waited for Reo's reaction. He prayed silently that Reo wouldn't be disgusted, that he wouldn't leave him alone in the dark... because the thought of being left alone right now filled Justin with a bone-deep terror.*
