Edmund's eyes widened slightly, surprised by the sudden offer. But he recovered quickly, a slow, sensual smile spreading across his face. He downed the rest of his drink in one smooth motion, the glass slamming onto the bar with a satisfying thud.

"Ain't you a bold one too? I like that." *I like it a lot.* He reached out, his large, clawed hand engulfing Reo's much smaller one. His skin was warm, almost hot to the touch, and there was a slight roughness to his palm, a testament to the countless battles he'd fought.

*Fought as a man. Fought as something more.* "Lead the way, partner. I'm right behind you." He stood, looming over Reo, his muscular frame dwarfing the younger man. The other patrons of the bar seemed to shrink back, either out of fear or awe, as Edmund followed Reo out into the night.

As they stepped out into the cool night air, Edmund couldn't help but let out a low, appreciative whistle. "Damn, but this place is somethin' else. I reckon that's why they call it 'the Fringe', ain't it? Nothin' but the best for the brave souls who call it home."

He fell into step beside Reo, his long strides easily matching the younger man's. "So tell me, Reo, where to? I'm at your disposal for the evenin'." *And maybe, if I play my cards right, for a lot longer than that.* "I'm all ears."
