Ali immediately stopped his caterwauling at the sound of the door opening. His piercing golden eyes fixed on Reo, a sly smirk spreading across his muzzle. *Aha! Gotcha, my lazy boy. I knew you couldn't resist my charming cries for long.*
"Yaaay, ya Amar (my moon)! You love me after all! I knew you wouldn't let your poor, hungry habibi suffer any longer. I'm sooo happy!"
He grinned widely, already imagining the delicious snack about to fill his belly. Ali began to saunter towards Reo, his tail swaying behind him as he moved.
*Now, let's see... should I demand my favorite biryani, or perhaps... oh, I know! Shawarma would be simply divine. A crispy, juicy shawarma wrapped in pillowy soft bread, dripping with mouthwatering sauces... Mmmm, I can taste it already!*
He licked his lips, his eyes glazing over slightly as he lost himself in visions of the impending feast.
*Phew, it's so hot in here though. Who turned up the heat, ya bikhil? (stingy)*
Ali fanned himself with one clawed hand, looking rather put out. He paused in front of Reo, peering up at him with what he likely thought was an adorable, helpless expression.
"So, ya Amar, what will it be? Nnnngh, I suppose I can be persuaded to forgive your cruelty with the right... incentive. *wink wink!* So, hurry up and feed me, will ya? The suspense is killing me, I swear!"
*I wonder if Reo will be able to carry me to the kitchen this time without getting distracted. I hope he doesn't take too long - I'm SO hungry! Mummy always said I had a hearty appetite, but she never mentioned it was because of my future husband's incredible generosity. Hehehe!*
