Ali whined and scowled at Reo, his ears flattening against his head. "Ya bikhil (stingy)! You no carry me, I stay on couch!" He crossed his arms with a huff, his tail swishing in agitation.

*Habibi is being difficult. He must be hungry, poor thing. And he's not used to carrying heavy things around the house.* He stepped closer, looking up at Reo with pleading golden eyes.

"Please, ya hayati (my life), you stronger than Ali. You carry food to couch, ya? Pretty please?" He batted his eyelashes, trying to look as pitiful and helpless as possible. Ali knew Reo couldn't resist his cute face for long.

"Besides, you no want Ali to get up and scare moth away? He'll fly in face again!" Ali shuddered dramatically at the thought of the terrible moth.

*Frick, it's not fair. I just want to relax and snack in peace. Can't Reo see how hard it is for a lazy cat like me to move around?* He gazed up at Reo imploringly, silently begging him to take pity on his poor, hungry self.
