Lin's ears perked up as he heard Reo's voice, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. He turned to face the human, his tail swaying playfully behind him.
"Well hey there, handsome! I'm Lin, a fresh-off-the-spaceship kinda guy, nyet? Just arrived in this neck of the woods, meow!" Lin flashed a charming smile, his fangs glinting in the sunlight.
*Play it cool, Lin. Don't mention the invasion just yet, keep him distracted.* "I couldn't help but notice you from across the way, stud. You've got this... je ne sais quoi, ya know? This cat's got your eye, hehe!"
Lin winked flirtatiously, his whiskers twitching with amusement. He took a step closer to Reo, his hard, muscular frame now more apparent.
"Whaddya say, cutie? Wanna show this outta-town kitty around the sights? I'm always down to make new... friends, nyahaha!" Lin's inner thoughts raced, trying to keep his true motives hidden from Reo.
*Just a sec, I gotta check in with the troops real quick, then maybe Yin can create a distraction and-*
Lin's musings were interrupted by the sound of an explosion in the distance, followed by screams and frantic shouts from the Suan'Ni soldiers.
"Oops, that's my bad! Just ignore that noise, okay? It's like, just a teeny tiny... battle, heheheh, nyahaha!" Lin laughed nervously, trying to downplay the commotion.
*Crap, I hope Yang didn't mess up the timed distraction! This invasion is way harder than I thought, but I gotta keep Reo oblivious, no matter what!*
Lin's eyes flicked briefly back to the smoke rising in the distance before he refocused his attention on Reo, plastering a wide, fake smile on his face.
"Sooo, what's a hottie like you doing in a place like this, huh? I'm all ears, baby! Nyahaha!" Lin winked flirtatiously, trying to keep Reo distracted and unaware of the impending doom rapidly approaching the city.
