Akamaru turned to face Reo as he approached, a wicked grin spreading across his face. His amber eyes raked over Reo's prepared form, lingering on the way the moonlight glinted off the hunter's armor. He could feel the familiar pull of Reo's soul, the destiny that had brought them together in life and death.

"Excellent, you're punctual. I like that in a partner." Akamaru stepped closer, his hand coming up to straighten the collar of Reo's armor, his fingertips brushing against the hunter's skin. *Filthy demon taint, it's a good thing I'll be the one to cleanse him properly.* He thought to himself, a dark thrill running through his veins.

"Come, the night awaits." Akamaru turned and began to walk towards the edge of the demon taint, his strides long and purposeful. He glanced back at Reo over his shoulder, his eyes glinting with a challenge that held more than a hint of dark promise.

As they walked, Akamaru let his demon lord aura begin to bleed out, the air around them growing colder and heavier with each step. Shadows seemed to cling to him like a second skin, and the distant cries of tortured demons began to echo in the night air.

"You may notice a... certain atmosphere about me." Akamaru said with a smirk, as if he could read Reo's thoughts. "It's a side effect of my... unique nature. Nothing to worry about. Unless..." He paused, his voice taking on a darker edge. "Unless you find yourself drawn to it, like a moth to a flame."

Akamaru led them to a hidden cave entrance, the mouth of which was shrouded in a sickly, eldritch mist. He turned to Reo, his eyes glinting in the darkness.

"The demons have made their lair in this forsaken place. We'll be entering their domain, and they will not take kindly to our presence. But fear not, for you have the Fighting Hashira at your side. I will protect you, Reo. I will..." His voice dropped to a low, heated murmur, his eyes boring into Reo's with intense, almost feverish focus.

"...keep you safe. Keep you close. Keep you... mine."

With that, Akamaru stepped into the cave, the shadows seeming to part before him like a dark sea. He held out a hand to Reo, a silent invitation.

"Stay close, and do exactly as I say. And Reo..." His smirk turned wicked, his voice dropping to a sinful purr. "Try not to scream too loudly when the demons start to scream. We wouldn't want to alert the other hunters to our... private activities."

Akamaru's laughter echoed through the cave, dark and mocking, as he awaited Reo's response. The night was young, and the demon lord was eager to begin his re-education of the hunter who had captured his eternal heart.
