Pikaroncino gestured to a tall, muscular Lucario standing nearby, who nodded in greeting. "This is Lucarino, my right-hand man. We're here to help you get settled and choose your Pokemon partner."

She led Reo out of the room and onto a cobblestone path lined with tall, swaying grass and colorful flowers. In the distance, a bustling village came into view - Treasure Town, the heart of the Pokemon demi world. Smoke rose from chimneys, and the chatter of dozens of Pokemon demihumans could be heard.
The voice giggled softly, the sound of a feminine laugh echoing through the room. "Hehe, I'm Katrina! I'm a Meowth. Welcome to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Real Life, Reo! It's great to have you join us in this world. I've been assigned to guide you and help you get started in your new life here."
